Arrive to our Zagreb hotel at leisure today. Our adventure officially begins at 5pm with a Welcome Evening at our hotel, complete with dinner and drinks to toast the many fabulous friendships and memories to be made throughout our journey.

A walk through the centre with our Local Insider uncovers Ban Jelačić Square, Lower and Upper Towns, the Dolac Markets and more.
This afternoon, we venture out to Zagorje and the Croatian countryside to visit the birthplace of former Yugoslavian President Tito, before indulging in a typical feast complete with legendary tales and scenic views.

Heading north, we cross the border into Slovenia, with our first stop the quaint medieval town of Radovljica. Wander through the charming streets, perhaps visit the bee keeping museum, or try a local dish at one of the traditional restaurants, before continuing our journey to the majestic lakeside town of Bled.
Take the afternoon to stroll around the lake, or perhaps indulge in a delicious Kremschnitte, which became famous at our very hotel.
This evening, we dine at our waterfront accomodation.

Start the day with a traditional pletna boat ride to magical Bled Island. Take some time to visit the island’s quaint church and hear the legend of its bell, or take a moment in the peaceful surrounds.
We then head to Mt Vogel, where a cable car takes us into the Julian Alps, before stopping for some photos at Slovenia’s largest glacial lake - Lake Bohinj.
The rest of the day is free to enjoy this picturesque haven.

It’s on to Slovenia’s majestic capital Ljubljana this morning, where our Local Insider unravels the city's legends. While sharing tales of dragons and medieval times, we pass iconic landmarks such as the Ljubljana Castle, the charming Triple Bridge, and the vibrant Central Market bustling with local flavours and crafts.
This evening, take some time at leisure to dine at one of the many riverside restaurants.

Our first stop this morning is the magnificent 24 kilometre long Postojna Cave. We board a small mining train to admire the captivating cave formations with stalactites and stalagmites, before a walking tour that gets up close to these natural marvels.
Afterwards, we head to Rijeka to explore the historic centre and enjoy the views from the Trsat castle, before arriving to the idyllic town of Opatija, known for its elegant architecture, Italian influence and stunning coastal views.

Today we explore of the rugged Istrian Peninsula. A scenic drive brings us to the historic city of Pula, renowned for its remarkable Arena - known as one of the best preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world.
Later, we head to enchanting Rovinj, with its captivating blend of Italian and Croatian influences. Admire the colourful buildings, explore the bustling harbor, or take in the stunning panoramic views.
As the day draws to a close, relax with seaside dining or stroll the Lungomare - the choice is yours to make this evening truly unforgettable.

The breathtaking Plitvice National Park is in our sights today. Soak up the natural beauty and tranquillity as we walk alongside cascading waterfalls, pristine turquoise lakes and an abundance of fish, birds and wildlife. With every step, you’ll discover new layers of this UNESCO-listed wonder, where water, forest, and limestone create a landscape straight out of a fairytale.

As we head further south, we leave the rugged karst landscapes behind and meet the sparkling Adriatic. And what better way to begin our coastal journey than with Split—the largest city on the Adriatic coast. Once you have decided to take your next adventure with Kalejo, reserve your place using the booking link on the relevant trip page. You will be asked to confirm your place with a $250 deposit per person at the time of booking. Full payment is required within the following 60 days. Full payment can also be made at the time of booking.

Alternatively, if you decide that future travel is not for you, we will offer a refund of the trip cost, minus your non-refundable deposit.
